A friend of mine has a dog. A great dog, very intelligent. Nice to people.

It turns out maybe a bit too smart. Like maybe annoyingly clever.

Jessie stays in his crate when his master (hahahah chortle guffaw) has to be away. Last week, Jessie managed to snout his way through the bars of his crate and got hold of, the very best treat he could reach, the air conditioner cord! Bye bye cool……

Well, today topped it off. Friend had to be out for a few hours. Jessie became [tag]Houdini[/tag] the Hound and got out of his crate (check your lock-up routine, bud) and must have tried to get out the front door. In jumping and scrambling onto the exit he knew, he managed to secure the dead bolt! Way to go, Jess! How to make a bad day worse!

Buddy is locked out of his home, by his pooch. To make a long story shorter, after searching for his son, grandson (small and lithe) he managed to get a friend to bust through a tiny window and allow entrance.

End of story, wipe the tears off of your cheeks.
