Mid-summer Heatwave
You have probably noticed the change in name of my website. This was done to facilitate my being found by searchers, as Google recognizes ‘Diane Oser’, but not my Hebrew name [tag]‘Malcha’[/tag]. Ah well, a rose by any other name… as the saying goes.
The heat is getting the better of me, rather enervating I find. Work down at Visac Gallery is being accomplished albeit under great duress as the air system has been down all summer so far.
Our pup Dixie is growing by the minute, and has become very much part of the family. She is very much loved by Yoda, who has learned how to play, probably for the first time in her life!
August 13th is our first [tag]anniversary[/tag] and I feel like cheering for us, considering what we lived through, this first year of marital [tag]bliss[/tag].
I am looking forward to many more years with Doug, and our various furred friends. This September I shall make a trek to [tag]Montreal[/tag] to see my kids, Seth and Eytan, and finally! my grandson Teagan. Definitely something to look forward to.
This Fall I will be offering the course [tag]‘The Artist’s Way’[/tag] based on the book by [tag]Julia Cameron[/tag]. It’s all about[tag] creativity[/tag], folks, and how to unblock our creative selves. I’m looking forward to facilitating this as I’ve gone through the course twice on my own, and find it exhilarating to say the least! [tag]Teaching[/tag] is the best way to learn, and I am excited!
[tag]Piano lessons[/tag] will resume once again in the Autumn, and that is something very dear to my heart. I seem to come alive once I start teaching again. Like giving a wilted flower some water…..presto!
Until next time.

Amen to many more years. Life is a river and we need someone to help paddle, someone to help find the way and someone to pull us out when we fall into deep water. I can see you both are all those things to each other. Blessings!
