Listening to Ella, feeling nostalgic
I’m not enjoying getting old, I have to admit. Ropey veins, too many memories, not having the creative energy I used to have, and not waking up in the morning feeling excited and eager to get to it. I still have the list of things to do that we all do, but I don’t seem to have the energy to do them all in a timely fashion.
I get my satisfaction from listening to the old music that I’ve always loved, right now it’s Ella Fitzgerald. I had Mack the Knife running through my mind all evening, so now it’s playing.
I am still painting, although slowly. Everything seems to be slowing down. Well, we’ll see where this leads eventually. Good night for now.

Life is like a river. Sometimes flowing faster, sometime slow and lazy. Enjoy the slow parts – look at the scenery. Rapids and waterfalls will come soon enough! ::HUG::
